Football Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short on the Road Against Parkwood + How To Watch

Piedmont had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 28-12 bruising from the Parkwood Wolf Pack on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Parkwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anwar Bit, who picked up 81 receiving yards and two scores. Nisaih Smith also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

Looking ahead, Piedmont will head out to take on South Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkwood, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cuthbertson at 7:00 p.m.
