Game recap: Limestone High School Football Team wins against Metamora

BARTONVILLE, Ill. - Limestone (Bartonville, Ill.) defeated Metamora (Ill.) 21-7.

The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at zero. The Rockets took the lead indefinitely on a passing touchdown in the third quarter.

Metamora's lone touchdown came on a 7-yard run by Ryan Patterson in the fourth quarter.

Limestone went into the matchup giving up only 14.3 points per game.



The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Redbirds took, 33-12.

The loss was the third in a row for Metamora.
