Palisades has gone 8-2 against Fairfax recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dolphins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 3:00 p.m. Palisades has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Palisades needed a bit of extra time to put away University. They were the clear victors by a 25-18 margin over the Wildcats. The Dolphins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Palisades got a massive performance out of Olivia Stanley, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 4-for-6. That's the most hits Stanley has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Brown, who went 6-for-7 with five RBI, three runs, and three doubles.

Palisades was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Fairfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Bishop Conaty-Loretto, falling 16-0.

Palisades' victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Fairfax, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Fairfax's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Palisades hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .342. It's a different story for Fairfax, though, as they've only averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Palisades' hitters?

Palisades took their win against Fairfax in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 18-8 score. Will the Dolphins repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
