There's no place like home for Kingman, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles on Thursday as the Kingman Bulldogs made off with an 11-1 victory. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Codey Padilla made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Kingman let Canton Collins and Garrick Hallman run wild. After both having extra time off, Bourgade Catholic and Gilbert Christian will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. Bourgade Catholic has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
