Basketball Game Preview: East Noble Knights vs. Central Noble Cougars

The East Noble Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Central Noble Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Noble took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East Noble, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, East Noble strolled past Garrett with points to spare, taking the game 58-44. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Railroaders are ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central Noble fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Wawasee on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 54-45 to the Warriors. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Central Noble's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4. As for East Noble, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

East Noble didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Central Noble in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Noble since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
