Basketball Recap: South Bend St. Joseph Gets the Win

South Bend Adams came into Friday's game looking for another win against South Bend St. Joseph, but Kenadie Schrock wouldn't allow it. The South Bend St. Joseph Huskies strolled past the South Bend Adams Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 55-39 thanks in part to Schrock, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 20 points and five steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Woods, who posted eight points along with eight boards and three steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

South Bend St. Joseph's record is now 7-4. As for South Bend Adams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Bend St. Joseph will host Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Bend Adams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Penn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
