Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Christian Falls to Bel Air in First Game of Season

Immanuel Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Bel Air Highlanders by a score of 3-2. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Immanuel Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Bel Air into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 23-25, 22-25, 15-10.

Coming up, Immanuel Christian will take on Parkland in a tournament on Thursday. Bel Air will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' matchup: after the Warriors face off against Ysleta, they'll take on Bel Air again at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
