Baseball Recap: Waukee Comes Up Short

Waukee lost against Northwest on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waukee's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Northwest, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Waukee has already played their next matchup, a 9-8 win against Urbandale on the 5th. As for Northwest, they will head out to face off against Ankeny at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Hawks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
