Softball Recap: North Takes a Loss

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, North was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Ironwood Eagles, falling 14-1.

North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Atiana Rios, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

North has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. Ironwood's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-7.

North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-11 win against Carl Hayden Community on the 25th. As for Ironwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-5 victory against Kellis on the 25th.
