Basketball Recap: Spokane Takes a Loss

Spokane suffered their closest loss since February 2, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Marionville Comets by a score of 51-49. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Spokane's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Marionville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.

Looking ahead, Spokane will challenge New Covenant Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. New Covenant Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 242 points over their last three games. As for Marionville, they will face off against Ash Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
