Football Game Recap: Pomeroy vs. Colton

Colton put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put a hurting on Pomeroy to the tune of 76-14. Colton were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win makes it two in a row for Colton and bumps their record up to 5-3. The loss dropped Pomeroy back to even at 4-4.

It's more conference action for Colton and Pomeroy in their upcoming matches. Colton will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Touchet. Touchet took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Colton's good fortune. As for Pomeroy, they will face off against Garfield-Palouse. If the match is anything like the 52-92 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
