Football Game Preview: Ayersville Pilots vs. Hicksville Aces

The Ayersville Pilots will head out on the road to challenge the Hicksville Aces at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ayersville is looking for their season's first win.

Ayersville lost 48-27 to Edgerton on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hicksville took a blow against Wayne Trace on Friday, falling 54-21. The Aces haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ayersville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hicksville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Ayersville won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, slipping by Hicksville 21-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pilots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
