Baseball Recap: Gardena Comes Up Short

Gardena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-2 to the Carson Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 on Wednesday.

Gardena's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Carson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3-1.

Coming up, Gardena will square off against Narbonne at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carson, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Venice on the 11th.
