After losing to Lawrenceville the last time they met, Marshall decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Marshall Lions slipped by the Lawrenceville Indians 61-60 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions who have now won four games in a row.

Lawrenceville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zander Cessna, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 16 points. Jayden Goff was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Lawrenceville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
