Football Recap: Heritage Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Heritage Academy was feeling good fresh off their 38-6 takedown of Mission Heights Prep last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Heroes took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyline Prep Bengals on Friday. The Heroes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bengals earlier this season, when they won 44-6.

The critical scores for Skyline Prep came from Bryon Durham and Charles Daniels.

Heritage Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Skyline Prep, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Heritage Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Academy Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Skyline Prep, they will head out to take on AZ Compass Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons have yet to allow a single point through nine contests this season, a streak the Bengals will look to end.
