Baseball Recap: Cedarville Drops Highest Score of Season Against Southeastern Local

Cedarville entered their tilt with Southeastern Local on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 15-1 win. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Xavier Pauling was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cedarville is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise. Pauling was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cedarville got a massive performance out of Wyatt Percival, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, one run, and one double. That double was Percival's first of the season. Zach Creeden was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
