Basketball Recap: Centura Centurions vs. Arcadia/Loup City Rebels

Make it eight blowout wins for the Centura Centurions this season. They really took it to Arcadia/Loup City for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-22 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Centura who now have six in a row.

Centura's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyra Wooden, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and five steals. Wooden hasn't dropped below four steals for eight straight games. Carlie Sokol was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.

Centura is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Centura will square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they will be playing at home against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ansley/Litchfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on Monday.
