Basketball Recap: Archer Takes a Loss

Archer lost against South Gwinnett back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Archer Tigers took a 61-43 bruising from the South Gwinnett Comets.

Archer's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for South Gwinnett, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archer will take on Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Newton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests. As for South Gwinnett, they will square off against Grayson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grayson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something South Gwinnett surely won't give up without a fight.
