Baseball Recap: Bruceville-Eddy Comes Up Short

Bruceville-Eddy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-7 to the Hamilton Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Bruceville-Eddy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Gail, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, Gail posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Justin Miller also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bruceville-Eddy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hamilton, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

While Bruceville-Eddy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
