Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boys' Latin Charter). They managed a 28-24 win over the Frankford Pioneers on Friday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 14-6 victory the Pioneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Boys' Latin Charter's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points on average over those games. As for Frankford, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boys' Latin Charter will host John Bartram at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves' defense has only allowed 5.8 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Frankford, they will welcome Martin Luther King at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
