Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sycamore). They took down the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers 68-50 on Monday. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Sycamore's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1. As for Aurora Central Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sycamore will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Neuqua Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they will take on St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
