Football Recap: Flathead Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Flathead unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The match between the Braves/Bravettes and the Great Falls Bison didn't end well, with the Braves/Bravettes falling 21-7. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

A big part of Great Falls' victory came down to the chemistry between Tristan Oleary and his top target Steele Harris. Oleary threw for 190 yards and two TDs while completing 88.9% of his passes while Harris picked up 162 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Harris was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flathead will host Whitefish at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Great Falls, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Big Sky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
