Softball Game Preview: Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks vs. New Berlin Eisenhower Lions

The Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks will take on the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Greenfield came up short against South Milwaukee and fell 5-1. The Hustlin' Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Berlin Eisenhower couldn't beat Franklin on Tuesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Lions came up short against the Sabers, falling 15-8. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Sabers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Jayda Karls was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliott Nielsen, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
