1. Ribault (Jacksonville)

Head coach: Shelia Pennick
2015-16 record: 30-1

Ribault finished last season as the No. 5 team in the Xcellent 25 after nabbing the Dick's Nationals title by beating two-time defending champ Riverdale Baptist. The Trojans bring back a dynamic duo in Rennia Davis and Day'Neshia Banks, who both averaged over 18 points per game.

2. Lake Highland Prep (Orlando)
Head coach:
Al Honor
2015-16 record: 29-3



Lake Highland Prep captured its second-straight Class 4A state title and was the No. 25 squad in the national computer rankings last season. The Highlanders return a lethal scoring attack with Tyra Cox and Rachel Jablonski - both averaged over 10 points per game.

3. Miami Country Day
Head coach: Ochiel Swaby
2015-16 record: 24-6

The Spartans completed last season by claiming their third-consecutive Class 3A state title. Miami Country Day reloads with standout guards Channise Lewis, Kelsey Marshall and Maria Alvarez. The terrific trio each pumped in over 10 points per game and eye a four-peat.

4. Winter Haven
Head coach: Johnnie Lawson
2015-16 record: 26-3

Winter Haven claimed the Class 7A state title and ended last season as the No. 5 team in the state. The Blue Devils return a veteran squad capable of making another championship run.

5. Seffner Christian
Head coach: Joe Cooper
2015-16 record: 28-4



Seffner finished as the Class 3A state runner-up for the third year in a row last season and will be eager to get past the roadblock in Miami Country Day. Superstar Chelsie Hall, a Vanderbilt commit, averaged 21 points per game and leads a senior-heavy bunch.
