Moanalua faced Kalani in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Menehune sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Falcons. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Menehune have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The win got Moanalua back to even at 3-3. As for Kalani, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moanalua will head out to take on Kaiser at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kalani, they will venture away from home to square off against Castle at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
