Softball Recap: Medfield Comes Up Short

Medfield managed to slip by Hopkinton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 12-0 to the Hillers on Wednesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hillers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Medfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hopkinton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Medfield will challenge rival Dedham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hopkinton is set to face off against their familiar foe Medway at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
