Softball Recap: Pine Grove Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

While Pine Grove put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Tri-Valley. The Cardinals came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 4-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won six matches in a row.

The result came thanks to Jamie Dinger's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 18 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Callee Leffler, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Madison Shiffer, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Pine Grove's record now sits at 21-2. As for Tri-Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.

As of now, neither Pine Grove nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
