After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patrick Henry, Chilhowie was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Rural Retreat Indians 3-2. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Chilhowie is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Rural Retreat, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chilhowie is set to face off against their familiar foe Holston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rural Retreat will challenge rival Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
