Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Silver Takes a Loss

If IMG Academy Silver was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Seminole on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ascenders came up short against the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 7-0.

IMG Academy Silver saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Feldman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

IMG Academy Silver's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-5.

IMG Academy Silver will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunlake at 7:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they will face off against St. Cloud at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Flagler Palm Coast's pitchers better be ready for this one: St. Cloud has averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
