Flag Football Game Preview: Centennial Knights vs. Dunwoody Wildcats

The Centennial Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Dunwoody Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Centennial 5, Dunwoody 6.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Dunwoody will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Centennial extended their winning streak to four two weeks ago. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand Mount Vernon a 20-0 shutout. Give the Knights' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dunwoody). They were the clear victors by a 26-6 margin over Duluth on Tuesday.

Dunwoody's win bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Centennial was able to grind out a solid win over Dunwoody when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 13-0. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
