Millersport has won three straight games at home, while Fisher Catholic has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Lakers will host the Irish at 5:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Millersport and Harvest Prep had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lakers blew past the Warriors 29-6 on Wednesday. The Lakers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Fisher Catholic got the win against Bishop Rosecrans on Wednesday by a conclusive 13-3. The Irish haven't had any issues with the Bishops recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Like Millersport, Fisher Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Lauren Kersell. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Kersell was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Fisher Catholic let Vanessa Funk and Lucy Watkins run wild. Funk went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Watkins went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Taylor Terry, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Fisher Catholic's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Millersport, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Fisher Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Millersport has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Fisher Catholic, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 strikeouts. Will Millersport keep running through batters, or will the Irish buck the trend?
