KIPP Newark Lab came into Thursday's matchup having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bard Raptors 49-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-51 back in December of 2024.

KIPP Newark Lab's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11. As for Bard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16-1.

KIPP Newark Lab will challenge Eagle Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bard has already played their next game (against Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
