The Cougars beat the Fighting Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  11-2. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by nine  runs or more this season.
 Makenzie Nowak was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   eight  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time she's  pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  stolen base was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news, Coleman let  Macy Nowak and  Alyssa Kurth run wild. Nowak  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI, while  Kurth  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run. Those  two  doubles gave  Kurth a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Hailey Ermis, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Coleman pushed their record up to 10-3 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Green Bay Southwest,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-12.
 Coleman has already played their next game,  a  14-4  loss against Oconto Falls on the 5th. As for Green Bay Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  17-2  defeat against Sheboygan North on the 6th.
