Football Recap: King Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Cass Tech

King faced Cass Tech in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Crusaders took a 27-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Technicians. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 30-14 to the Technicians when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

King's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Cass Tech, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
