Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Notre Dame Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Encinal Jets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pilots of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

St. Joseph Notre Dame saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Dumont, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Encinal, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

St. Joseph Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-3 win against Redwood Christian on the 18th. As for Encinal, they will take on Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
