Brookhaven dropped their record down to 11-12 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Clinton Arrows by a score of  6-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Arrows this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-4  back in March.
As for Clinton, their victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 19-7. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games.
For Clinton's part,  Jack Grove looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  Grove posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in March.
 At the plate,  Ethan Dodson was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Stone Crain, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  double and one  RBI.
As of now, neither Brookhaven nor Clinton have any future games scheduled.
