Baseball Recap: East Hampton Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Hampton won against Portland last Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bellringers beat the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. The win was familiar territory for the Bellringers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Mason Rall and Logan Supinski did most of the damage at the plate: Rall went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Supinski got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs Rall has posted since back in April of 2025. Joseph Jarzabek also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

East Hampton's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-7. As for Haddam-Killingworth, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-4-1 record.

Coincidentally, East Hampton and Haddam-Killingworth will both be playing Cromwell the next time they take the field. The Bellringers will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
