Baseball Recap: Sacred Heart Prep Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Sacred Heart Prep never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Mills on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over the Mills Vikings. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Gators' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Devin Saltzgaber tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Daniel Gee, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Another player making a difference was Casey Parker, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Sacred Heart Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
