Oak Hills is a perfect 9-0 against Hesperia since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will take on the Scorpions at 7:30 p.m. Oak Hills is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Oak Hills is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Burroughs: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Burros out of the water with a 48-7 final score. With the Bulldogs ahead 38-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Oak Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Webster led the charge by throwing for 202 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. What's more, Webster racked up 150 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Julius Brown made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hesperia beat Sultana 33-28 on Friday. The Scorpions haven't had any issues with the Sultans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Oak Hills better keep an eye on Zamar Malveaux. He was instrumental in Hesperia's win, rushing for 203 yards and one score while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 39 receiving yards and one TD. Malveaux's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. Another passer making a difference was Darius Williams, who threw for 168 yards and one touchdown on only 13 passes.
Hesperia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 271 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 247 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Hesperia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Malveaux and Alex Garcia. Hesperia got some further help from Nathan Rodriguez: he made 12 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Oak Hills' record now sits at 7-2. As for Hesperia, their record is now 6-3.
Thursday's contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Christopher Martin and Malveaux. Martin just won't slow down this season and has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 101.1 rushing yards per game. Malveaux has been a dominant force too and has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 142.9 rushing yards per game.
Everything came up roses for Oak Hills against Hesperia in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 34-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
