Basketball Game Preview: Hart Longhorns vs. Springlake-Earth Wolverines

Hart is 0-10 against Springlake-Earth since January of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Hart Longhorns will host the Springlake-Earth Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Hart humbled Kress with a 60-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springlake-Earth). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 74-47 victory over Lazbuddie.

Springlake-Earth's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Hart, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Hart was dealt a bruising 75-40 defeat at the hands of Springlake-Earth when the teams last played back in February of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hart was down 51-15.
