Volleyball Recap: Christ the King Falls to Northtown in First Game of Season

Christ the King unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northtown Pumas on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 17 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18.

The win keeps Northtown at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, Christ the King and Northtown will both be playing Walther Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Pumas will host the Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Gladiators will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
