Volleyball Game Preview: Springboro Panthers vs. Milford Eagles

The Springboro Panthers will take on the Milford Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Springboro came up short against Mount Notre Dame on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with Mount Notre Dame: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Milford beat Oak Hills 3-1 on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-9, 25-14.

Milford's win came from a few key players Springboro will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Madi Long, who had ten digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (29). Another player making a difference was Cam Harris, who had 12 digs and five aces.

Milford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Springboro's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Milford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
