Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lemon Bay). They claimed a resounding 52-0 victory over the East Lee County Jaguars. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Manta Rays had established a 38-point advantage.

Lemon Bay had a senior duo take command as Carlos Serrano rushed for 163 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry and Drew Moormann rushed for 28 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Serrano's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.

Lemon Bay was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 271 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 271 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Lemon Bay's record now sits at 3-5. As for East Lee County, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Lemon Bay will head out to face off against Cypress Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Lee County, they will be playing at home against Fort Myers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will be up against the Green Wave's rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.63 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
