Garrett dropped their record down to 7-2 on Monday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell 3-0 to the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Railroaders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ashlee Vanderbosch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, the victory got them back to even at 3-3. They haven't had any issues with Garrett recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

On Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's side, Garrett's batters probably weren't too happy with Avianna Vasquez, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (she gave up four walks). Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Vasquez.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Maeve Miltner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
