Baseball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson lost against Fairfield on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors lost 19-1 to the Falcons. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Augustin Corona, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Fairfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-12 defeat against Valley on the 29th. As for Fairfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Antioch on the 25th.
