Bartlett faced West Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Golden Bears put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 19-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Golden Bears, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Bartlett and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for West Anchorage, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Bartlett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 16th. As for West Anchorage, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-0 loss against South Anchorage on the 15th.
