On Friday Plateau Valley's undefeated season almost came to an end. They had just enough and edged out the Vail Christian Saints 28-26. That's more bragging rights for the Cowboys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Colter Ralston threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns. Hunter White was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Vance Sheffield rushed for 120 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.

Plateau Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Vail Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
