Basketball Recap: Crane Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Win

Crane had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.8 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They secured a 44-38 W over the Country Christian Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Cougars back in December of 2024, they had to take a 42-30 defeat.

Crane is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Country Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.

Crane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-43 win against North Clackamas Christian on the 25th. Country Christian has also already played their next contest, a 56-48 defeat against Jordan Valley on the 25th.
