Volleyball Recap: Marshall's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marshall had won two straight games and Lena Lao did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Rosemead Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Lao, who had six aces and five digs. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

While Marshall won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-23.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Rosemead, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Charter Oak on the 21st. As for Rosemead, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Compton Early College on the 21st.
