Football Recap: Wiregrass Ranch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wiregrass Ranch was the 21-19 winner over Clearwater when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulls took a 28-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tornadoes on Friday.

Daniel Terry threw for 214 yards and one touchdown. Alex McCollough was his top target, picking up 73 receiving yards.

Jaylen White was nothing short of spectacular for Clearwater: he rushed for 122 yards and one TD while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Isaiah Berrien also helped with two scores in total.

Wiregrass Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clearwater, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wiregrass Ranch will head out to square off against Zephyrhills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clearwater, they will venture away from home to take on Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
